Certificate of Competence in Italian as a Foreign Language

We are very pleased to announce the Italian Language Centre (ILC) now offers the opportunity to obtain certification of competence in Italian as a foreign language (Cert.It – Certificazione Italiano come Lingua Straniera) issued by the Università Roma Tre. Cert.It is officially recognised as a certification of competence by the Ministry of Foreign affairs (MAECI) and the Ministry of Education & Merit (MIUR).

The Cert.It. exams are intended for foreigners who need to provide a certificate in the following cases:

·      applying for an Italian residence permit (A2)

·      students wanting to study in an Italian University (B2)

·      Italian, non-Italian and foreign teachers working in Italy (C2)

The Italian Language Centre is an affiliated institution where the Cert.It. exams take place at 473 Lutwyche Road LUTWYCHE QLD 4030 on the following dates:

Cert. It. Exams A2 and B1
Wednesday 27 September 2023
Bookings open 3 July 2023 and close 6 September 2023

Cert. It. Exams A1 and B2
Wednesday 25 October 2023
Bookings open 14 September 2023 and close 4 October 2023
