Eucalyptus Sniffles to Gymnastic Giggles

CARO DIARIO!

As the seasons shift, it seems everyone is coming down with the sniffles lately! And I have not been spared!! Thankfully after a few days resting, armed with my eucalyptus-infused tissues (so very Aussie, right?), I’m starting to feel much better. Just in time to accompany my talented friend Ivy to her GYMNASTICA classes!! I felt like an Olympian as I learned how to tackle the beam. While I may not have matched Ivy’s impressive skills, I had an absolute blast!!!

This week, I also attended Phoebe’s and Bronte’s gymnastics lessons. I had a pawsome time learning all about this discipline! Did you know that over the years, gymnastics has become a big deal here? It’s a fantastic way to work on balance, coordination and fitness all while having loads of fun.

Later this week, Phoebe and Bronte also took me to discover more of sunny Brisbane. We caught the train for a delicious breakfast at Queen’s Wharf and viewed the new sky deck at the Casino, involving a daring walk over the new Neville Bonner pedestrian bridge. Talk about a bird’s-eye view! Luckily, none of us were afraid of heights!

Guess what? School’s almost out here in Brisbane!! While kids in Italy are just starting back, here we only have 6 weeks left before the looooong Christmas holidays! I’m excited to trade a snowy Christmas for a sunny one! I wonder what special Christmas foods people eat here? Maybe I’ll be able to put my paws on some delicious Panettone?!

A PRESTO…
