Pimpa explores Mt Cootha with Vinnie and Lucky

CARO DIARIO (dear diary),

Today I had the most amazing introduction to the BELLA CITTÀ DI (beautiful city of) Brisbane with my new friends Vinnie and Lucky.

They took me on an awesome ESCURSIONE (hike) to the famous Mt Cootha to see a breathtaking view of the modern city from the beautiful outlook. We drove in the family car and made sure we buckled up our seatbelts – MEGLIO PREVENIRE CHE CURARE or as I learned today: “Safety first!”

Vinnie and I were like ESPLORATORI IN CARNE ED OSSA (real-life explorers), plotting the best route up the mountain. And let me tell you, the trek was like nothing I’ve ever seen before. There were plants and animals I’d never even heard of! We even snapped a pic with a towering tree that was as tall as the Leaning Tower of Pisa!

The whole time, we were just a hop, skip and a jump away from the city, but it felt like we were deep in the wilderness. I could hear all sorts of birds singing – Kookaburras, Lorikeets, you name it!

After our exciting adventure, we chilled out with the boys’ Nana and had the yummiest afternoon tea ever. CHE GIORNATA PERFETTA! (What a perfect day!) I can’t wait to see more of this amazing city and make even more awesome friends!
